If you are on the Eastern side of the country.

Heading North on A1
Take the A684 exit at Leeming Bar, turn left heading for Bedale and follow it to Leyburn. At Harmby DO NOT TAKE unmarked road on right as this is unsuitable for long vehicles. Carry on to Leyburn centre and take the A6108 towards Richmond. After leaving Leyburn the site is the first turning on the right on a single track road across a field, sign posted.

Heading South on A1
Take the A6136 exit at Catterick Bridge, turn right in Catterick bridge at the race course towards Catterick Garrison and Leyburn. At Catterick Garrison go straight at all roundabouts, go straight on at the last roundabout at Aldi going on to Range Road. This is a very good road (Aroad quality) across the moor to Leyburn. Follow the road and it joins the A6108. Turn left 1/2 mile later towards Bellerby / Leyburn. After Bellerby take second left turning on a single track road across a field, sign posted.

If you are on the Western side of the country.

Heading South on M6
Take the A66 at Penrith turning left towards Scotch Corner. At Scotch Corner turn right to A1 South, follow the directions as approaching from A1 North.

Heading North on M6 for a slightly narrow scenic route
Take the A684 at Junction 37 turning right towards Sedbergh. Follow the A684 to Leyburn. In Leyburn go straight on at the roundabout on the A6108 towards Richmond. After leaving Leyburn the site is the first turning on the right on a single track road across a field, sign posted.

Heading North on M6 normal route
Take the A685 at Junction 38 turning right towards Kirby Stephen. Continue to Brough then turn right onto the A66 towards Scotch corner. At Scotch Corner turn right to A1 South, follow the directions as approaching from A1 North.
